Targeted Learning Materials to Support Curriculum Gaps
Project Outline
High Flyers is a course for learners aged 7–9. After reviewing learner data with the product owner, we identified key areas where students needed extra support. I planned and developed a set of targeted supplementary worksheets to help teachers address these learning gaps.
My Input
Wrote all worksheet content, targeting curriculum-aligned grammar and language outcomes
Designed each page using InDesign, selecting assets from the product library and ensuring visual consistency
Created clear, CEFR-aligned tasks that complemented classroom instruction and supported independent use
Challenge & Solution
Many learners had already seen this language in class, so the challenge was keeping tasks fresh and meaningful. I designed differentiated items that reinforced target structures through varied, engaging formats—without repeating classroom content.
CEFR A1 Worksheets
These worksheets support beginner-level learners, focusing on foundational vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and basic comprehension. Activities were designed to be highly accessible and engaging for beginners, with clear visual cues and repetition built in.
CEFR A2 Worksheets
These worksheets introduce more complex language tasks. Learners engage with short reading passages, demonstrate understanding through reasoning questions, and complete scaffolded writing exercises.
