Content Development for Preschool Learning Course (Ages 3–6)
Project Outline
Small Stars is a complete blended learning course for children aged 3–6. The course included digital screens, student books, homework apps, teacher notes, and animated video content. The new edition replaced a legacy product and aligned with updated learning goals and user needs.
My Input
Wrote scripts for animated videos that introduced target language through short, story-based scenes
Designed and wrote student book activities with Adobe InDesign, creating page plans to structure content flow and support classroom delivery
Created prototypes and final versions of app activities using Adobe Experience Manager
Wrote and edited full teacher notes with clear rationale, scripting, and classroom guidance
Animated Video Scripts
I wrote short, story-based scripts introducing target language in context. Each video supported classroom learning by modelling natural language through characters and scenarios familiar to young learners.
Video Production: North Kingdom Studios
Student Book Design
I designed activity pages aligned with learning goals, creating clear page plans and prototypes to support layout and flow. My writing balanced controlled input with engaging tasks, always mindful of classroom pacing and teacher usability.
Lesson Plans
I wrote complete lesson plans (teacher notes), including scripted classroom language, learning goals for each activity, and practical teaching tips. The notes were designed to support consistent delivery across multiple regions and teaching styles.
